Students – if you have a COE that you are working on, please see Mrs. Rise for Math and Mr. Daniels for reading and writing, don’t wait, this has to be summited by the end of January in order to graduate.



FBLA--  We have concessions at the volleyball game on Thursday.  Please sign up with Mrs. Proctor to work and to bring pop and water.  You will earn points by doing so.



ASB Officers and 7th & 8th Grade Representatives – we will have an ASB Meeting today at 2:30 in the Conference Room.


Students – there are cards on the office counter to guess the weight of the Pumpkin, the student that guesses the weight or is the closet, will be able to take it home for Halloween on Friday, October 16th and receive 10 Raider Best Bucks, please guess during your lunch time, so that you are not late to class!!!


7th and 8th Grader Boys’ Basketball Cheerleaders, please meet your coach today at 5:30 pm to try on uniforms in the Raider HUB.


Seniors – Jim from Herf Jones will be back on Monday, November 16th, during advisory time to take orders for your graduation items. 


Trio Upward Bound – The next Saturday P.R.E.P will be on October 19th.  This will be a trip to EWU Open House and Football Game.  Only the first 30 will be allowed to go.  Let Mrs. Schumaker know if you are planning on attending in order to reserve a spot.  Permissions slips are in your folders.


Seniors – Mrs. Black has more numbers to cur, points will be given.

SHARP Program for 4th through 12th  graders, please meet at 3:05 on the Elementary side cafeteria for a snack and your room assignment.   1st through 3rd graders starting date to be announced.


Jr. & Sr. High Football Players – Sports pictures will be on Tuesday, October 13th.  Retake pictures will be Tuesday, November 17th.


As part of Homecoming, one of the class competitions will be to Hunt for the Alien, this will be for all grades, 7th through 12th.   Listed below are the rules that will be followed:

·         Boundaries:  Lake Roosevelt Jr./Sr. High  school campus.  Not including old high school buildings.

·         Date October 13th – 16th

·         How to Play:  There will be an alien hidden on campus.  If a student finds the alien they must hide it again.. This may be repeated with different students from any 7th through 12th grade class.  The class that hid the alien and knows the location of it by Friday, October 16th wins.

·         Reward:  The class that wins will receive 100 points.


Homecoming will be on Friday, October 16th, theme is “Lost in Space”, listed below are the dress up days:

·         Monday, October 12th – Columbus Day, no school

·         Tuesday, October 13th – Alien Day

·         Wednesday, October 14th – Blackout Day

·         Thursday, October 15th – Star Wars Day

·         Friday, October 16th – Raider Love Day
