CWP

A two-semester senior social studies class. It consists of current problems and issues facing our country and the world. The class includes basic political systems, economics systems and world geography. Media in the global world is also stressed. Preparation for senior boards is an integrated part of the class. Major required projects are a world map proficiency exam, a research paper and a community action project. The first half of the year will focus on the United States government system and domestic policy issues. The second half of the year will focus on the Senior Research Paper and foreign policy issues. Current events will be discussed and evaluated frequently.
