Title VII/JOM Information

What is JOM?

The Johnson O’Malley (JOM) program used to provide supplementary financial assistance to meet the educational needs of Indian students attending public schools. This program is available to any student enrolled in a federally recognized tribe. In addition, a parent should complete a 506 form provided to you by the Grand Coulee Dam School District.

 

What is Title VII?

The Title VII grant, with funding from the Federal Government, provides academic assistance and culturally related activities to students. Eligible students enrolled in either a federally recognized tribe, or descendants having a parent or grandparent enrolled. In addition, a parent needs to complete the 506 form provided by the Grand Coulee Dam School District.

Our annual general membership meeting will be on Tuesday, May 20, 2008. We look forward to seeing all of you. We will be electing new officers at this meeting. Your vote does cut, so please join us in the Center Elementary Library at 5:30pm.

 

 

 

 

 

We are getting ready to make moccasins. We have measured and cut out the buckskin. We will now begin to bead our designs on them. We have several students from LR coming up to help us. We work on our moccasins on Mondays and Tuesdays.
