This is the week of our Discovery Week Field trip to Swanson Lake to learn about the Channel Scabland history along with the plants and animals found in the scabland ecosystem. Every student will need their permission slip, lunch, comfortable walking shoes and long pants since we'll be hiking among the sage brush. We'll be leaving the school at 8:45 a.m. and returning about 2:15. It should be an educational day as well as fun to get out of the classroom and explore the outdoors.
